The LAA oversees all engineer services, permit and inspections for homebuild aircraft. If you're thinking of building a Jodel then this is your first point of call.

Find out about LAA support here

Jodel Builders Networks

Advice can be sought from the experienced builders on the International Jodel Group Site where there are also archive files. You will need to get a Groups.IO login to post and to view the files but you can view the conversations without logging in.

Can you help support those building or restoring a Jodel? It might be nice to have a list of contacts for Jodel experts - perhaps you have successfully built or restored one yourself, or you're an Inspector or Engineer that has experience with the type? Or perhaps you're stuck and need help! contact the International Jodel Group or the Facebook group and we'll see if we can get you off the ground!

CAA UK Airworthiness Directives

Aircraft on the UK Register are required to comply with applicable UK Airworthiness Directives. For more info see the CAA pages here

All current ADs are published in the document CAP747 which can be downloaded here

EASA Airworthiness Directives

If your aircraft is on the EASA register, you must comply with EASA requirements for Airworthiness Directives. These are normally managed by your Maintenance organisation. However to check if there are any that apply to your aircraft use the search facility at http://ad.easa.europa.eu/
